To celebrate the 3rd birthday of La Di Da, several designers were commissioned to create opulent pieces that reflected the magazine and its love for high end fashion.

Elaine Humble from Dimesso created a beautiful bespoke head piece that incorporated design elements from the magazine.

Melanie Kyles created the beautiful embellished tiara shaped neckpiece with intricate details, if you look closely enough you may be able to spot a die cut canine.

The dress was made by most favourite person ever, the incredible designer and brand owner of OSSEUS. She hand painted the cover from the first issue onto silk with white and gold fabric paint. Then worked her magic and added some chiffon and made the beautiful dress you see in the images.

The ever adorable Dodi was on man cup and hair duties (I am still devastated you caught Pikachu before me lol) working her magic on the beautiful Grace from Savalas Models. It is hard to believe that Grace only started modelling a month or so before this shoot, she is unreal and a complete natural.

While Dodi was applying the make up to Grace me and the girls headed out for our props which included balloons and cakes from Pet Lamb Patisserie. On our way back we popped into TyneSide Cinema to ask if we could shoot on the 1st floor as the light hitting the windows was beautiful and we managed to get some lovely natural shots here once Grace was ready.

Once the light started setting We headed indoors to the studio to shot some portraits with the balloons and cakes.

Disclaimer: The cakes didn't last long.

The last set was shot in the dark alleyway behind the studios as we would be using a smoke machine and can't really use them indoors without setting off the smoke alarms, which would be awkward if we did.

Anyway the final images from the shoot are below and the magazine is available to read online at and to purchase in stores.
