First shoot of the year turned out to be my first editorial shoot as well as this this is one of the biggest teams I have ever worked with as well. I was really lucky to get to work with people from the industry who I admire greatly and to create something to my usual kind of work.

The model Vera from Savalas Models, is incredible, she has walked in London, Milan and New York Fashion week, she even got to walk for Zac Posen, this girl is destined for amazing things, her work ethic is unreal and she is an absolute delight to work with. I also get to work with her again this week for another editorial.

Chantal the queen of the highlight, was the make up artist for this shoot, she recently moved into our building so I have had the pleasure of working on many projects with her, her creativity with make up is fantastic and she is the loveliest person you could ever meet, I have so much work I have done with her that I can't wait to show you when it is released.

Katie is the stylist and brains behind stylebyco brought in the design talents of Stephanie Raeburn a local lingerie designer who has an amazing future in the industry ahead of her. The garments used are from her final collection from University and have been featured on Vogues website, they are absolutely unreal and edgy.

Katie paired up Stephanie's designs with luxury accessory designer Melanie Kyles who's beautiful work is very delicate and feminine that are all hand-embroidered and embellished to compliment the theme.

Terry was on hand for hair duties and responsible for Vera's slicked back looks.

The behind the scenes shots from above are straight from camera, the other two images are out takes from the end of the shoot using the ring light to light Vera.

The images above were shot using one light with a reflective brolly to camera right, the blue tone was all done in camera.  I shot tethered so we could consistently check how the images were looking, were the garments looking good, what we needed to change in terms of lighting and make up and so on.

The above images are the tear sheets from Elléments magazine and I adore the flow of the editorial as well as being super happy with he final 6 images that made the cut. I honestly can not wait for my issue to arrive so I can see the colours in their printed glory.

The images below are one that either didn't make it to my final choices or were cut by the magazine. I did edit and retouch more images than usual so we all got something worthwhile for our portfolios as well .

This shoot was so much fun and I can not wait to work with this team again! <3
