Miyavi -06th Oct

Omg I got to take photos of Miyavi haha I have to say I panicked when I found out the gig was in an 02 academy as I have hadn’t had much luck with their in built lighting system at Newcastle. Got no complaints about Islington though. All their staff were lovely and happy to help and seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was talking to the security at the front and they were such a good giggle. Got talking to the other photographers in the pit to and I cant believe how nice they were as well so if any of you girls in the pit read this pleaseeeee contact me! Had a bit of banter with some of the crowd and most of them were awesome to J Nearly tripped over the camera guy a couple of times but he appeared out of no where lol

When Miyavi came out the crowd went wild, there was no support beforehand he just went straight for the kill. I was expecting him to be good but not this good, I was honestly blown away. He worked the crowd and teased them by hiding behind his umbrella as he made his way to the mic. Even then barely showing his face while the crowd go wild in front of him. There was a lot of happy people in the room that night.

I did however feel slightly sickened at the fact I noticed the bassist was using a ampeg svt 2 pro and svt 4pro >.<  haha I think my boyfriend has got me well trained in the art of bass amps. Did I mention the bassist had an ampeg cab to? Lol
